At the 2026 Conference for the National Association of Counties in New Orleans, Louisiana, Chatham County announced it would be the host of NACo's 2026 Annual Conference.
Summer 500 Program Returns to Chatham County
After a 10-year hiatus, the Summer 500 Program returned in 2026, giving local high school students hands-on job experience through a partnership with Chatham County and other community partners.
Chatham County Programs Honored by the National Association of Counties
Chatham County was recently recognized with two Achievement Awards from the National Association of Counties (NACo) during the organization’s annual conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, earlier this month.
